MARK PARTEN
President
Areas of Expertise: Water/Sewer Audits & Property Tax Appeals
Robert M. (Mark) Parten is a graduate of The University of Houston with a B.A. degree in Finance. While in college, during the summer months, Mark ran his own business as a student dealer with the Southwestern Company located in Nashville, Tennessee. After college, Mark spent several years in the commercial real estate business in Nashville, Tennessee. He brokered and managed commercial property, as well as formed fully funded limited partnerships that invested in commercial property.
During the commercial real estate recession in the late 1980’s, it became evident that properties that were sold just a few years earlier had lost a high percentage of their value. However, the property taxing authorities still had many of the properties on the tax roll at the higher values from before the recession. A niche was found and Mark began to appeal real estate values. Shortly thereafter, the business grew to include utility bill audits, utility cost recovery, and consulting services.
Mark resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and two children. His older son and his family live in Cincinnati, Ohio.
JOE BASILE
Areas of Expertise: Telecommunications Audits
Joseph A. (Joe) Basile, Jr. holds a B.S. degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a MBA in Management from Golden State University. Joe has worked in the telecommunications industry for over twenty-five years.
During this time, he has held various senior management roles in the areas of operations, engineering, sales and marketing, and IT for various full service telecommunications companies throughout the United States. He has a strong background in local and long distance services, data, cellular, Internet, and fax services. Joe has held the position of chief executive officer for two full service telecom and internet companies.
Since 2001, Joe has been employed as a telecommunications consultant. He and his wife, Mary, reside in Gallatin, Tennessee and their son Daniel attends Western Kentucky University.
HANK FAULKNER
Areas of Expertise: Gas & Electric Audits
Harry (Hank) Faulkner holds a B.A. degree from Hanover College, a J.D. degree The University of Texas School of Law, and a M.A. degree form Vanderbilt University. He is licensed to practice law in Texas (inactive) and Tennessee (active), and is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association.
After beginning his career at Texaco, Inc., Hank served as Vice President Legal and Secretary of North America Royalties, Inc. (NAR) in Chattanooga, TN. NAR’s Wheland Foundry Division was the largest independent manufacturer of automotive brake components in the U.S. and its Oil and Gas Division explored for oil and natural gas primarily in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
While employed at NAR, Hank served as Chairman of the Chattanooga Manufacturers Association (CMA) and as founding Chairman of its Energy Committee. In 1994, in recognition of his achievements, Hank received CMA’s highest individual honor, the C.D. Mitchell Award, presented to the person who, “…has best represented, promoted and advanced the interests of Chattanooga area manufacturers in particular and business interests in general.”
Hank also served as President and Chairman of the Natural Gas Committee of Associated Valley Industries (AVI), a non-profit organization made up of over sixty distributor-served industrial customers of TVA. In 1998, Hank left NAR and joined TVA in the Contracts and Pricing Section of the customer service and Marketing Division. He was soon promoted to Manager of Industrial Contracts, responsible for the staff writing electric power contracts with TVA’s large direct served customers, such as Saturn and Alcoa.
In late 2003, Hank took advantage of a TVA early retirement incentive and began his energy consulting career helping clients save on their natural gas and electric bills.
JUSTIN BRADLEY
Areas of Expertise: Waste, Recycling, & Medical Waste
Justin Bradley received his B.S. in Business Administration from Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville, Tennessee in May of 2000. Before joining Revenue Source Group, Justin worked with one of Middle Tennessee’s largest waste consulting firms for five years. Since 2001, he has been working with clients to create savings in the areas of solid waste, recycling, and medical waste.
